23 year old Marko Knezevic of south St. Louis County was killed when his a 2009 Yamaha sportbike collided with a stalled 2003 GMC Envoy on Interstate 270 in south St. Louis County, as reported by St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Marko’s family should be very in tune with the information on this site right here.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol, 40 year old Mark T. McKay was southbound near Gravois Road when his SUV struck the median wall and spun around before stopping in the middle of the highway. He got out of the SUV but unfortunately, as it was blocking the lanes, Knezevic crashed into it and died on the spot despite having worn a helmet.

Investigations revealed that McKay was driving while intoxicated and he was subsequently arrested for causing this carnage where he will need a St. Louis drunk driving accident lawyer. He was also found in possession of a controlled substance and was taken to St. Louis County Jail and later released, pending charges. The arrest turned out to be McKay’s fifth DUI.

Based on his drunk driving accident attorney, he should have been wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet. McKay pleaded guilty to a 2012 felony charge of DUI chronic offender last year and for driving on a suspended license.
